The process for amending the Century Village by-laws requires that any proposed amendment be submitted to the administration for approval before it is presented to the delegates for a vote. According to the rules the executive committee can reject any proposal therefore not bringing it to the delegates for debate on the issue and not allowing a vote.
We believe that petitions for bylaw amendments should be brought to the delegates regardless of the executive board’s approval or disapproval.
What do you think? please fill out the form below and submit it to us . We need resident input on this issue before we proceed with a proposal to amend the bylaws to affect a change in favor of the residents giving the delegates the authority and the final say in amending bylaws. .
